Pricing Update Effective August 1, 2026

Valor 4 Vet’s updated pricing will take effect on August 1, 2026.

Valor 4 Vet has not changed pricing since before May 2022. We have worked hard to preserve our pricing for as long as possible because we understand that Veterans ultimately bear the cost of obtaining medical evidence for their VA disability claims, even when they have legal representation.

Over the past several years, the cost of operating a secure, professional medical legal consulting service has continued to increase. These costs include software systems, administrative tools, medical expert coordination, payment processing fees, credit card fees, and the time required to complete detailed medical record review and quality assurance.

Additionally, the VA disability claims process has continued to evolve. In recent years, veterans’ claims have increasingly involved more complex medical evidence issues, including rapid denials without consideration of evidence and the PACT Act. These changes require more time, more careful documentation, and a stronger quality-control process.

Demand for Valor 4 Vet’s services has also continued to grow. While we are grateful for the trust Veterans, representatives, and legal professionals place in our company, high demand must be managed responsibly. Our goal is not to process the highest number of orders possible. Our goal is to continue producing detailed, individualized, medically supported reports with the level of review our Veterans deserve.

The updated pricing allows Valor 4 Vet to continue investing in the systems, staff, medical experts, and review process needed to maintain report quality. It also helps us manage workload in a way that protects turnaround times, and medical expert availability.

Updated Pricing

The following pricing will take effect on August 1, 2026:

Record Reviews: $300
Nexus Letters: $1,200
Mental Health DBQ / Video Exam: $500
Online DBQs: $400
Expedited Record Review Add-On: $300
Rebuttal Letters: $400

Current Pricing Deadline

Services paid in full on or before July 31, 2026, will be honored at the current pre-August 1 price for that service.

Registration alone does not preserve current pricing. To receive current pricing, the service must be paid on or before July 31, 2026.

Record Reviews and Nexus Letter Pricing

A record review is required before a nexus letter can be ordered.

If a Veteran’s record review is paid in full on or before July 31, 2026, and Valor 4 Vet later determines that a nexus letter is appropriate, the Veteran may purchase the recommended nexus letter at the current pre-August 1 price for 90 calendar days from the date the record review result is completed by the medical expert team. 

After that 90-day period, updated pricing will apply.

This 90-day price-hold period applies only to the recommended nexus letter following a qualifying paid record review. It does not preserve old pricing for unrelated future services, additional conditions, DBQs, rebuttal letters, expedited fees, or future record reviews unless those services were also paid in full on or before July 31, 2026.

The 90-day price-hold period preserves the eligible nexus letter price only. It does not change standard turnaround times.

Examples

If a Veteran pays for a record review on or before July 31, 2026, and the record review result is later sent after August 1, 2026, the Veteran may still qualify for the prior nexus letter price if a nexus letter is recommended.

If a nexus letter is recommended, the Veteran has 90 calendar days from the date the record review result is completed to purchase the recommended nexus letter at the pre-August 1 price.

If the Veteran waits longer than 90 calendar days after the record review result is sent, the updated nexus letter price will apply.

If a Veteran registers in the portal before August 1, 2026, but does not pay for a record review or other service on or before July 31, 2026, updated pricing will apply.

What This Means for Veterans

We understand that any price increase matters. Valor 4 Vet has delayed increasing prices for several years because we know Veterans are the ones who ultimately carry the cost of obtaining private medical evidence.

At the same time, maintaining quality requires time, trained medical experts, computer software systems, detailed review, and responsible workload management. The updated pricing helps Valor 4 Vet continue providing individualized medical evidence services without compromising the review process.

Valor 4 Vet remains committed to flat-fee pricing and transparency. We do not take a percentage of a Veteran’s back pay.
